Sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), with the industrial name Texapon, is among the most common raw materials used in the production of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics as well as most detergents such as dish-washing liquids and industrial cleaners. It is also used in the production of a wide range of personal care products such as soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, creams and lotions either in liquid or solid forms. Besides, SLES is used in the printing and dyeing industry, petroleum and leather industry as lubricant, dyeing agent, cleanser, foaming agent and degreasing agent.

Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) is used as an H2S and CO2 absorbent in oil, gas and petrochemical plants. The products from purification plants have diverse applications in a variety of industries, such as detergent, cosmetic, sanitation, food, pharmaceutical, anti-freeze, rubber and polyester.
