Parand Darou Company
Founded in 2005 as a knowledge-based enterprise, Parand Darou Pharmaceutical Company is a manufacturer of narcotic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients or APIs. It’s the second privately-owned company in Iran that was authorized by the country’s Food and Drug Administration to manufacture medicinal narcotic products including codeine phosphate, noscapine, thebaine, papaverine and oxycodone enabling it to not only cater to the demand of the domestic market, but to market its products internationally.
In 2020, Parand Darou was granted a GMP certificate by the respective authority after it managed to produce narcotic finished products following the setting up of a syrup production line. As a result, it is currently a member of the country’s API manufacturing and packaging syndicate as well as the Syndicate of the Owners of Pharmaceutical Industries of Iran.
In July 2022, Kimyagaran Emrooz Chemical Industries Co. (public joint-stock company) acquired the control stock of Parand Darou to mark a turning point in the company’s growth, expansion and excellence.
